We recently rolled out some key updates through our latest Mind Map Pro release, which included the following changes:

1. Mobile optimization

Ideas don’t stop when you’re on the move, so we’ve optimized our mobile site to ensure that you can access mindmappro.com whenever you need to, from any device. This means that you’ll be able to add comments to the chats within your Doodle from your phone too, so you never need to miss out on a discussion.

2. Easier to invite team members, try it out!

We’ve streamlined the process for inviting friends or colleagues to join your team because Doodling is better when you do it together. Use the teams icon and send email invites directly from your Doodle. Click on the name of a team members, then drag and drop to change their role to commentator or editor.

3. Better navigation between recent Doodles and teams

It can be difficult juggling different projects with different groups, but we want to help you stay on top of your Doodling. We’ve added a new feature to allow you to easily switch between recent Doodles. Simply click the clock icon at the top of your screen when you are finished working on one mind map and want to visit another recently used mind map.

You can also switch to recent teams quickly too, click on your profile on the top left hand corner of the screen then select the team you’d like to open.

4. Searchable chat history and alerts about messages in other Doodles

When important discussions happen, you want to be able to revisit key points easily and receive notifications of unread messages, so we made that happen. The live chat functionality within each idea in a mind map is now slicker and helps you stay better connected with your team.

The latest updates allow you to search through your chat history and ensure you will receive alerts about messages that are unread, even if they are in other Doodles that are not open.

5. Improved mind mapping in 3D

Our 3D mind map view certainly had the wow factor before, but now we’ve added some features to make it even easier and more effective to use. We’ve introduced 3D mouseovers so you can preview notes and featured images attached to ideas in 3D view.

There’s also a new shared focus between 3D and 2D, so if you click on an idea in one view, then switch another view, your screen will stay focused on the same idea.

6. Lots of user experience tweaks based on your feedback

Valuable user feedback has helped us to improve the user experience (UX) of Mind Map Pro. We’ve made a number of important tweaks and we welcome more suggestions from our users.

What else has changed?

  • Notifications slimmed down to essentials
  • Improved usability for public Doodles
  • Faster loading and pagination for data tables and image galleries
  • Featured images now included in export

Automatic updates

Mind Map Pro will have been updated automatically, so there’s no need to manually download or update anything. Just sit back and enjoy the new and improved features.
